About monthly maintenanceSociety management app
Whether you call it a housing society, an apartment association or an RWA, the work is the same: collect maintenance, pay the bills, fix what breaks and decide things together. Nestie handles that, without the extra modules a small society never uses.

In India the same group goes by different names. A building may be registered as a housing society, run as an apartment owners’ association, or work as a resident welfare association (RWA). Most of them do the same everyday work: collect maintenance from members, spend it on common areas and staff, and take decisions together.
Nestie is written in the language of apartments and flats, but it fits any of these, as long as members pay maintenance and the committee looks after shared spending. For the full picture of what is in the app, see the apartment management app overview.
Nestie does not handle society registration, statutory filings, bye-laws or legal compliance. It is a tool for running the society day to day and keeping members informed.
For the secretary, treasurer or coordinator who ends up doing most of the work.

About monthly maintenanceCash handed over by the watchman is counted and confirmed; owner UPI payments are checked against the bank.
About collectionBefore closing, Nestie lists what still needs attention: unpaid bills, pending dues, missing evidence.
About statementsIssues come in with photos, are assigned to someone, and show how long they have been open.
Lift, motors and other common assets with AMC dates, service history, providers and documents.
The AI Secretary answers members’ routine questions from the records, so the committee is not asked the same thing every day.
Every owner sees their own dues and receipts, the society’s collections and fund balance, each month’s statement, the issues that are open and the votes waiting for them. They do not need to ask the treasurer for figures.
Members only see what their role allows. The watchman sees the collection screen and the tasks assigned to them, not the society’s accounts.
A proposal such as CCTV, painting or a lift repair goes to a vote. Each flat has one vote, cast by its registered owner. Running results stay hidden until voting closes, comments stay on record, and the result is kept with the decision.

Nestie suits smaller housing societies and independent apartment associations run by volunteers, including buildings with more than one tower. It is a good fit if your main problems are maintenance tracking, receipts, spending records and decisions. For a smaller building, see simple apartment management for smaller communities.
We set up your society for you, and the first month is free, so the committee can judge it on real use.
If you need these, a larger society platform may suit you better.
Yes, if members pay maintenance and the committee manages shared spending. Nestie handles the day-to-day records; it does not handle registration or statutory filings.
Not at present. Each flat’s registered owner has the account, and votes are cast by owners.

Your fund balance before Nestie is recorded once as a starting balance. From then on, Nestie keeps the new records.
